Mason-Rice Cafeteria Now Open!

One Week ago the Mason-Rice cafeteria [ the Centre] opened. At lunch we come into the cafeteria. If you order lunch you get your card and come in to buy your lunch. If you brought your lunch you take your lunch box to your table. There are 13 tables. Each class gets one or two tables. For example, Ms. Ramgren’s class gets tables 5 and 7. Second grade gets 15 minutes to eat. It also serves as our auditorium. Because of that a popular name was the Cafetorium. But the actual name is the Centre.

Lunch Time!

Last week we ate in the new cafeteria!  This is great news for us because we don’t have to walk as far with our food.  We have assigned tables, but not assigned seats- HOORAY!!!!!  I like this idea because we can either talk with friends or sit with people we don’t usually sit with.  We’re not only throwing food out,we’re also recycling!  Since there are multiple classes in the lunchroom, it can get pretty noisy. Do you like it as much as I do????
